This is not an extensive list, but an overview of a few steps that
will help you get started.
4
steps to follow:
- Choose and register a domain
name (For example www.OnlineKingdoms.com).
- Purchase web
hosting.

web site.

1. Register your domain name
If you haven't already done so, you can perform a free search for
domain names (i.e. enter your desired name such as www. Online Kingdoms .com)
that are available for you to use. To get started, visit the domain name
search page.
Once you find a domain name that you like, it is important that you register your domain name
right away to secure ownership.
2. Purchase web hosting
Many companies offer hosting services, but OnlineKingdoms.com™ offers
you web
hosting solutions with knowledgeable
customer service reliable
service, excellent customer service and no hidden
fees.
3. Outline your content Categories & navigation
First, decide what information you want to include in your web
site and organize it into categories/sections. For
example, your pricing information
would be found under the "Services" section.
After doing this with all of your information, you will have the main
links (or navigation) that will be used on your web site. Note: Do not offer a section that has not been developed. The
worst thing you can do to your Web site (and your corporate image) is to post
an "Under Construction" message on any given page. Home page
When you have finished organizing the categories and information, decide
what will be featured on the home page. Take into consideration who
your visitors will be and what information they will be looking for. Errors & broken
links
Use a spell-check program and invite your family and friends to help
you review your site. They will find spelling and grammar errors or
broken links that you may have missed. Make a habit to correct all errors
immediately. 4. Choose a web site builder You are now ready to put your information online and will need to decide
who will do this for you.
